Privacy Policy
"Soccer Timer" (the "App") is provided by sakusakudev ("we" or "us"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. Information the App collects
The App does not require an account or registration, and the App itself does not collect information that identifies you, such as your name or email address.
Match records (goals, cards, team names, match times, etc.) and your App settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to an external server. Uninstalling the App deletes them from your device.
2. Advertising
The App displays ads using Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC. To serve ads, the Google SDK (software development kit) included in the App may automatically collect the following information and send it to Google and Google's advertising partners:
- Device identifiers: advertising ID, app set ID, etc.
- Approximate location: a general area estimated from your IP address (the App does not collect precise location such as GPS)
- App interactions: ad views and taps, app launches, etc.
- Diagnostics: performance information such as app launch time, hang rate and energy usage
This information is used for ad delivery and measurement, analytics, fraud prevention and security. All of it is encrypted in transit (TLS). We do not use this information to identify individual users.

3. Consent for ads (users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent to the use of your information for advertising, for example when you first launch it, through Google's consent management tool (User Messaging Platform). In these regions, personal data is used for advertising on the basis of your consent (or legitimate interest, where explained on the consent screen).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from "Privacy options" in the App's menu (the "≡" button at the edge of the screen). You can use every feature of the App even if you do not consent; in that case, non-personalized ads may be shown instead.
4. Ad personalization and your advertising ID
You can reset or delete your advertising ID and limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example, Settings → Privacy (or Security & privacy) → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads). Once you delete your advertising ID, it is no longer used to personalize ads. The exact location of these settings may vary by device and Android version.
5. Device permissions
The App uses the following permissions:
- Internet access / network state: to display ads.
- Advertising ID access: used by the Google SDK for ad delivery and measurement.
- Background operation (foreground service): to keep the match timer running accurately while you use other apps or turn the screen off during a match.
- Notifications: to show that a match is in progress, and to alert you when the scheduled end of the first half, half-time or the match is reached.
- Vibration: for vibration alerts such as the end of a half, and to confirm taps when selecting a card.
The App does not use any other permissions (such as location, camera, contacts or microphone).
6. Your rights
We do not hold any information that identifies you personally. For information collected by Google in connection with ads, you can ask Google for access, deletion and so on as described in the Google Privacy Policy above. Users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
7. Children's privacy
The App is intended mainly for referees, coaches and match organizers and is not directed at children under 13. The App itself does not collect personal information; for ads, see "2. Advertising" above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in the App. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and announce significant changes in the App or on this page. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
